Reading the edition of January 9th of "O Liberal", in the column "Voz do Leitor” - under the main title "Vez do Leitor" I had the thankful satisfaction of tasting the entitled matters, “The Internationalization Of Amazonia", by Benedito Wilson Sá, member of the Paraense Academy of Letters - Belém; "Latin-American Panorama", by Jarbas Passarinho, former-governor of Pará, former-senator and former-minister of the Work, of the Education, of the Precaution and of the Justice; “Everybody Wants The Amazonia! ", by Hugo Antônio Ferrari - Óbidos - Pará and "Amazonia: From The Deforestation To The Maintainable Exploration", by Marcus Barros, president of Ibama - Brasilia.

Then, I took for base that the matters published in the site Acorda Pará - www.acordapara.com.br -, which doesn't possess economical purposes; they are not constituted accusation in vain. The Acorda Pará, opportunely, receives readers' of countries visits as: United States, Sweden, Portugal, Japan, France, Poland, Canada, Germany, Australia, England, Switzerland, Argentina, Spain, Norway, Panama, Costa Rica, Austria, European Union, Belgium and Brazil, and, that it reaches place of international prominence when having matters published in the United States through the site PlanetSave www.planetsave.com - Independent News. The alert had already been made! We know that our authorities fake to ignore, or to ignore on the published accusations, but they have substantial knowledge of what happens in our territory, as it is exemplified in the texts published in the edition.

In the reality, the journalism team of Acorda Pará has yes, of truth, it determined and shouted so that the constituted authorities, at least in the State of Pará, they began a process so that we can save the Amazonia of the alien adventurers (several companies of mineral and vegetable extraction based in the State) that are to devastate one of the last refuges of the nature in the reality. Most of the time without paying the necessary taxes to our treasury will benefit other States. And our population how it is? But, it is as well he adduces in his matter Benedito Wilson of Sá "... places where community use boats and canoes as only means of transportation could simply be traveled walking or by bicycle. Great boats were arrested in the dry mud - that is the bed of the rivers: thousands of dead fish attracted vultures, transforming the landscape in a great cemetery to open sky; cities and communities completely dependent of the rivers they were totally isolated, suffering with the lack of medicines, fuel, drinking water and food"; only that statement typifies what we can observe in Paraense Amazonia. And to who it does interest so much poverty, to the Brazilian political noblemen or foreign groups that "finance the country?"

Besides, we cannot allow that a group of few, but very few entrepreneurs, benefit of such products and raw materials only for us to show the lust, without, however, to corroborate with a possible minimum for the enlargement of our State. And, without any guilty conscience, to leave as inheritance to the atrocities perpetrated against the nature for our future generation. The nature that was always a lot of prodigal in this extensive strip of the paraense territory it begins to give exhaustion sign, due to the predatory exploration of the natural resources along the time.

He said Victor Hugo once; "First it was necessary to civilize the man in relation to the own man. Now it is necessary to civilize the man in relation to the nature and to the animals". And our hymn what the one says? "Save, the earth of gigantic rivers, of the Amazonian - Princess, everything in you is vibrant charm, from the industry to the pagan rudeness", and, Hugo Ferrari affirms in his matter: Everybody wants the Amazonia! For the indifference with that our authorities treat the Amazonia, it is more who wants her! All know - and it is not today - that countries with "fat eyes" exist in the largest reservation of biodiversity of the planet. To Brazil, that wealth seems not to represent anything due to the impressive devastation that the forest has been suffering for following years. The government, unhappily, it has been proving not to be capable to preserve the Amazonia as it would owe, in order to avoid that the worst of all of the predators - the own man - destroys that true shrine once and for all. Nobody respects any more our environmental laws! To each aggression that the Amazonia suffers, it is less life - not only in Brazil, but in the rest of the world, also, because it affects the ecosystem as a completely.

When we speak about the Amazonia, we are whole careful, when we mentioned and we affirmed as accusation what happens around here, besides some actions "sub-judice", because, if we don't do it, they will still proclaim our matters as dubious or even apology. We see that it is done urgent and necessary the creation of a politics that comes to encounter not only to the interest of the Nation, of the State or of each Municipal district, but, that has in its salience a reality of minimizing the suffered problems for all of the paraenses as to respect to the preservation of the middle-atmosphere, and that that really crosses the borders of the paper or of the media and that it comes to be executed with truth, since we live and we need the soil where we live. We should not forget that the true reason of maintaining the environment ecologically balanced is the own man, the human being.

We owe yes; to be concerned with the future of the area, mainly in what concerns the interior of the forest. The Government needs in the reality to allocate human resources and financial for basic activities, that space from the fiscalization to the limitation of the forest and research projects and rational exploration. Since the few families that inhabit the area stay attentive against the invader, but without voice nor time, and little, very little they can do, therefore they only possess right to vote for in the urns of the elections.

The silence of the forests and rivers denounce the invaders with the noises of the motors of the pushers (small embarkation with great propulsion) that push rafts with hundreds of cubic meters of logs of noble wood from the area, or who does know that noise of the motorcycle demolishing part of our forests without, however, the noise arriving at the ears of the closest authorities in the occasion of the aggression to our flora.

When we listen the cantata of the hymn of Pará, what an emotion! But something emotion? If we return a little in the time, when of the composition of Arthur Porto's verses, "Save, the earth of rich forests, fecundated in the sun of Ecuador, your destiny is to live among parties, of the progress, of Peace and of the Love", we are sure that, when of the creation, the word "Saves" that is perpetuated, it was written as a greeting expression, today, however, who knows the verb to save - literally - it has been a vision of the author, crying to the time, for us to Save the Amazonia from the "crapulence" installed under the beards of our authorities municipal, state and federal.

Then, the authors of the matters published excuse me, but I ask without guilty conscience: will we have although to believe so in the letter of our hymn, or will we have to do and to see the ending that the same proclaims... "Oh Pará, as it makes me proud to be son, of such a beautiful and strong colossus, of your flowers rail, of Brazil - Sentry of the North. And to leave of maintaining that shine, did we prefer a thousand times, the death! ". Will it be that we will have to accomplish the statement of our hymn, or will we have to perish without oxygen, because it was already proven scientifically that areas now arid they already sheltered a rich vegetation and biodiversity in the past?

Why not to look with professionalism all the situation as it comes. The gradual temperature change that happens in Pará, or who knows the shortage of the fluvial waters, as it already happened last year. Oh it is the question. Will we be the next deserts of the world? The fear is very big. The threat reaches all. The reality is more and more close. Until the governments and the society recognize that in the vast and rich Amazonian universe, as in any other point of the planet, the nature is the most important element. It remains to preserve the Amazonia. Because, she will always continue being necessary. The lung of the world!

For not prolonging me a lot in the text, and so that the population not only paraense, but the northerner, and maybe the Brazilian in a whole, become aware of what happens in our area is that matters published without any previous censorship, or commercial ends, but with all ethical peculiar to our attitudes in the site Acorda Pará.
