The wooden leftovers that were deposited in the garbage, polluting the environment, now will take reuse as a raw material in the production of briquettes. What was garbage is going to become energy, helping to preserve the nature, contributing with the economy of energy and with the control of the illegal deforestation in the Amazon region.

The Industrial District of Icoaraci, in the State of the Pará, is ready commemorating the 'turn-key' of the newest factory of the energetic alternative, clean and renewable fuel: it treats the ‘ Briket Future Energy ’, enterprise that will produce the briquette, an ecological material that substitutes with great efficiency the oil BPF used in industrial boilers, the gas, the electric energy, the coal and, principally, the illegal firewood, among other fuels.

With womb in Higienópolis, State of Sao Paulo, the factory of the Pará will use residues from forest certified raw material, originating from forest plans of handling, of renewable fountains or processes of environmental recycling, constituting material of high caloric power, without additive, agglutinant or any other chemical elements. The fountains will be the residues from noble Amazonian wood, and the standardized moisture of the final product will be inferior to eight percentage points.

The initial capacity of the factory, with the only line of production, will be three thousand monthly tons, which will be enlarged in modules or lines in accordance with the growth of the demand.

‘To burn the briquette no special equipment or adaptation is necessary. Any furnace, boiler or oven burning cuts firewood that they are ready for the burning of the briquette, the combustion of the product is clean, without smell, without smoke and with low rate of leftover ashes’, it commemorates Edward Karic, partner of the undertaking.

Jairo Harari, technical person in charge of the industrial plant of Icoaraci shows that, among others, the principal advantages of the healthy briquette that he occupies somewhat are spaced out by and economizes in storage and freight, besides the high caloric power (PCI 4900 – PCS 5250 Kcal/kg).

‘When a comparative one is establishing between several fuels, we have that, regarding relative quantity for production of steam, one ton of briquette is equal to four cubic meters of firewood, or two and half tons of chip of wood or five hundred kilograms of BPF 1 oil ’. ‘Besides, our product is eligible for credit of carbon, it presents the best relation cost x benefit and less cost of maintenance of ovens and boilers, with bigger and quicker combustion, great caloric power and thermal regularity ’.

Congratulations to the Briket Future Energy. The Government of the State of Pará, through the Executive General office of Environment - SEMA, it might establish like restriction, in the environmental licensing of the undertakings that need to use boilers, the obligation of consumption of least quantities of this new product, besides the fiscal and tax benefits, while many enterprises and economical groups will have the opportunity for proving in practice and in the volunteer form, the millionaire propagandas of which they are ecologically correct and socially just.
