| Uncomfortable position of Vale do
Rio Doce
Friday,
01/06/05 - 08 PM
When accompanying, sincerely, the governor's
Simão Jatene pronouncement of one hour and 15 minutes,
in Hotel Sagres's auditorium, for occasion of the stage of closing
of the Encounter of Municipal Secretaries of Administration, Finances
and Planning of the State of Pará, I had the opportunity
to notice the clear dissatisfaction of the paraense Governor regarding
current situation created starting from the verification, for
the public opinion, of the uncomfortable posture of the Companhia
Vale do Rio Doce - CVRD, that is framed in the unequivocal illustration
of reverse in published matter according to the Public prosecution
service, in first hand by the site Acorda Pará. Or else
we see: governor Simão Jatene didn't hide of anybody that
wished to listen that the State of Pará loses about two
billion and 700 million of dollars since Vale do Rio Doce receives
to export iron ore".
I Find very opportune the position adopted by
the Governor of Pará, because, very away there is a shy
against-installment on the part of this company to the paraense
people, this is not the first time that facts of that nature happen
and the very little that it remains doesn't have logical comparison
with the too much that of here is taken. What we see, along that
secular transition, in the Amazonian, it is the repetition of
facts already denounced by Eduardo Galeano in his acquaintance
work "The Veins Open of Latin America".
At least, that was the reaction that I could
notice in the audience that accompanied, in a concentrated way,
the Governor's explanation, with wireless microphone in the hand,
in the central catwalk of the auditorium of the hotel, objecting
in a vehement way that picture that already lasts long since the
last decades of last century.
I believe that the uttered words, with eloquence,
by governor Simão Jatene left very clear that, although
we have already passed from the period of homage to the martyr
of the Mining Disloyalty, there’s no doubt for us, that
we had faith in the reach of the liberation of the yoke of the
most powerful, it is still evident and very current the sentence
"Free quae will be tamem". Finally, I want to do part
of the choir of expressive number of opinion formatters that,
joining to the people's point of view thankfully illustrious and
politicized, they continue to hammer in that key, believing that,
unlike the ones that they affirm that "against the force
there is no resistance", still the force of the intelligence
prevails.
I believe that we will still see a succession
of defeats of the strong Goalies against modest and intelligent
David.
